My name is Daryl Ball and I am a film photographer based in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Since I first purchased a 1950’s Kodak Retinette, I now have a large collection of vintage cameras and what started as a hobby has now become a passion.

Monochrome Momento offers a unique and desirable range of retro style, quality mounted prints. All pictures are originals, taken by myself and shot exclusively using black and white 35mm film in vintage cameras. This ensures the attractive, classic grainy, analogue film look that has such a nostalgic appeal in today’s digital world.

My pictures try to capture not only the iconic images around Northern Ireland we know so well, but also the people and everyday life in this place I love to call Home.
